What you earn
Performance-based tiered commission
Your commission rate grows as your referrals do. Every certificate in the IFAL pathway is available to promote — and a single referral that progresses through the full pathway generates commissions at each level.
Tier 1
Under 100
confirmed enrolments
15%
per confirmed enrolment
Tier 3
Over 250
confirmed enrolments
25%
per confirmed enrolment
Tiers are based on your cumulative lifetime Qualified Sales. Commission is calculated on the net price paid after any discount. Once you reach a tier, your rate applies to all future confirmed enrolments — there is no cap on referrals.
Programme Enrolment Price
Foundation Certificate in Agribusiness Value Chains Rolling intake · 45 hours · AI Coach included · Immediate access
$499
Advanced Certificate I — Sustainable Food Supply Chains Cohort-based · ~250 hours · 30-week AI Coach · Foundation prerequisite
$2,499
Advanced Certificate II — Food & Agribusiness Leadership Cohort-based · ~250 hours · 30-week AI Coach · Foundation prerequisite
$2,499
Commission is calculated on the net price paid after any discount. A Qualified Sale is confirmed after the 14-day refund window. Tier upgrade is applied from the next confirmed sale after the threshold is crossed.
All certificates co-issued by Avila University — HLC Accredited · Kansas City, Missouri
How a Qualified Sale works: A learner clicks your affiliate link → completes the checkout → does not request a refund within 14 days → commission is confirmed at your current tier rate. Your 60-day cookie window means if they return to enrol days later, the referral is still credited to you.

Affiliate Partner FAQs
Everything you need to know
Twenty questions across five topics — from what you're promoting to tax obligations and brand guidelines.
What you are promoting
The primary promotional focus for affiliate partners is the Foundation Certificate in Agribusiness Value Chains — a 14-course, 45-hour, AI-coached professional credential available at $499 USD, co-issued by Avila University (HLC-accredited, Kansas City, Missouri) and IFAL. Your affiliate tracking link and commission also applies to both Advanced Certificate programmes priced at $2,499 per enrolment.

The credential in one sentence: "You Know the Industry. Build the Business Model Mindset." The Foundation Certificate gives agribusiness professionals the commercial intelligence framework that only 18% of employers say their new hires arrive with on day one — according to the USDA and Purdue University's 2025–2030 Agribusiness Employment Outlook.
Three specific groups convert best for the Foundation Certificate:

Early-career agribusiness professionals (1–5 years experience) in grain origination, cooperative management, agronomy sales, food manufacturing, agritech, and food distribution — who have the technical knowledge but lack the commercial business model framework.

Community college graduates entering agribusiness careers with an AAS or BSc in Agriculture, Agronomy, Food Science, or Animal Science — they need the commercial intelligence layer that sits on top of their technical education.

Career switchers from adjacent sectors (food retail, logistics, finance, rural banking) moving into agribusiness roles who need a structured, credentialled introduction to agribusiness value chains.

For Advanced Certificates: agrifood entrepreneurs, agribusiness managers seeking promotion, and food innovation professionals are the primary audience.
The Foundation Certificate costs $499 USD — total, all-in, no subscription, no hidden fees. One payment gives the learner:

· All 14 courses (~45 hours of self-paced structured learning)
· 12 weeks of Agribusiness Coach AI access — IFAL's domain-specific AI coaching platform, included at no extra charge
· The Foundation Certificate credential on completion, co-issued by Avila University (HLC-accredited) and IFAL
· A digital credential for LinkedIn and résumé
· Instant access from the moment payment is confirmed — no intake dates, no waiting
The Foundation Certificate is co-issued by Avila University, accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) — the same regional accrediting body that accredits the University of Missouri, Kansas State University, and Iowa State University. This is full US institutional accreditation recognised by the US Department of Education.

Important: the Foundation Certificate is a professional credential, not a degree or academic credit-bearing course. Do not describe it as degree credit or imply it transfers as academic credit toward a degree — this would be inaccurate and a breach of your Affiliate Agreement. Direct detailed accreditation questions to vijayender@ifal.ac.
Application & Approval
Submit your application through the form on this page. You will be asked to provide your name, contact details, website or social media profiles, and a brief description of your audience profile and the numbers you engage in the agribusiness or agricultural education community.

All affiliate applications are manually reviewed before approval — the programme uses approval-gating to ensure every affiliate has genuine agribusiness credibility and a relevant audience. You will receive a decision within 3–5 business days.

Who gets approved: Agricultural educators, FFA advisors, agribusiness content creators, community college career advisors, extension educators, agribusiness podcasters, and food industry professionals with a relevant audience. Generic online marketers without agribusiness context are unlikely to be approved.
No. There is no cost to join the IFAL Affiliate Partner Programme. The programme is free to join and free to participate in. The only financial transaction in the relationship is in the direction of Company to Affiliate — IFAL pays you commission on Qualified Sales. You never pay IFAL anything.
Once your application is approved, you will receive:

· Your Affiliate Partner Agreement — confirming the commission tiers and terms for you to review and sign
· Your unique affiliate link — in the format ifal.ac/foundation-certificate-in-agribusiness-value-chains?via=yourname — tracking all referrals to your account
· Your affiliate portal login — where you can monitor clicks, conversion rates, Qualified Sales, your current tier, and commission earnings in real time
· Programme and promotional assets — to support your marketing and enrolment plan
Commission & Payments
IFAL operates a performance-based tiered commission structure. Your rate increases automatically as your cumulative lifetime Qualified Sales grow:

TierCumulative SalesYour Rate
Tier 1Under 10015%
Tier 2100 – 25020%
Tier 3Over 25025%

Tier upgrades are applied from the next confirmed sale after the threshold is crossed — not retroactively. There is no cap on referrals at any tier. Commission is calculated on the net price paid by the learner after any coupon discount.
A Qualified Sale is a sale where: (1) the learner was referred through your affiliate link or coupon code; (2) the learner has paid in full; (3) the learner has not requested a refund within the 14-day refund window; and (4) the sale has been confirmed on the affiliate platform.

In practice: when a learner clicks your link, completes the checkout at $499, and does not request a refund within 14 days — that is a Qualified Sale and your commission at your current tier rate is confirmed. IFAL reserves the right to withhold commissions where it reasonably believes fraud has occurred, including self-referrals.
IFAL calculates commissions on a monthly basis and issues payments within 15 days of the end of each calendar month in which the Qualified Sale was finalised.

Example: A learner enrols on 12 June. The 14-day refund window closes on 26 June. June commission is calculated on 30 June. Payment is issued by 15 July.

Payments are made via Wise (TransferWise) or bank transfer as specified by you at registration. Transaction fees charged by the payment provider are your responsibility. If your total commission for a month is below the $50 minimum payout threshold, the balance rolls over to the following month.
Your affiliate portal gives you real-time visibility of:

· Total referral link clicks — how many people have clicked your affiliate link
· Conversion rate — what percentage of clicks result in a completed enrolment
· Qualified Sales — confirmed enrolments attributed to your link within the 60-day cookie window
· Current tier and progress — your active commission rate and how many sales until your next tier upgrade
· Commissions earned — total commissions accumulated and pending payment
· Payment history — record of all commissions paid to you
You are responsible for all taxes associated with the receipt of your affiliate commission. IFAL does not withhold tax on commission payments.

US-based affiliates earning more than $600 USD in a calendar year: IFAL will issue a Form 1099-NEC as required by the IRS. You must provide a completed W-9 upon request.
International affiliates: you must provide a completed W-8BEN form upon request.
UK-based affiliates: you are responsible for declaring commission income to HMRC as self-employment or business income, and for any VAT obligations that may apply.

You are responsible for declaring commission income under the tax laws of your own jurisdiction.
Promoting IFAL — Rules & Guidelines
You may use any of the IFAL-provided Promotional Materials freely — these are provided in your onboarding asset pack. If you want to create your own materials (a blog post, YouTube video, podcast episode, LinkedIn post), you may do so — but any materials that reference IFAL, Avila University, or the Foundation Certificate must be accurate and must not misrepresent the programme or its accreditation status.

You own the content you create. By publishing it, you grant IFAL a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to share or reference your content for IFAL's own marketing. IFAL will always attribute shared content to you.
Yes — disclosure is a legal requirement under the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Endorsement Guidelines, and equivalent rules apply in the UK (ASA/CAP) and other jurisdictions. Your Affiliate Agreement requires you to include a clear and prominent disclosure in all promotional content.

A simple statement is sufficient: "I may earn a commission if you enrol via my link" — placed clearly within the promotional content, not buried in small print. This applies to blog posts, social media posts, email newsletters, video descriptions, and podcast show notes.
You may run paid advertising — with one important restriction. You may not bid on IFAL's branded search terms in any paid advertising campaign without prior written consent. Protected terms include: IFAL, Avila University, Foundation Certificate in Agribusiness Value Chains.

You may run paid ads targeting agribusiness professionals using non-branded keywords (e.g. "agribusiness certificate online", "agribusiness career training", "value chain certificate") — these are not restricted.
Yes — but you must comply with applicable email marketing law:

US audiences: comply with the CAN-SPAM Act — include your physical address, a working unsubscribe mechanism, and clear sender identification.
UK audiences: comply with UK PECR — only email people who have opted in to receive marketing from you.
EU audiences: comply with GDPR — same opt-in requirement.

All emails must include your FTC/ASA-compliant affiliate disclosure. Never purchase email lists or send unsolicited bulk emails promoting your affiliate link.
Direct all detailed programme questions to IFAL. Three routes are available:

· IFAL FAQ page at ifal.ac/faqs-1
· Direct email to vijayender@ifal.ac — responds within one working day
· Foundation Certificate page at ifal.ac/foundation-certificate-in-agribusiness-value-chains

Do not guess or speculate about programme details, accreditation claims, or employer recognition that you are not certain of.
Brand, IP & Data Protection
Yes — but only using the brand-approved versions provided in your Affiliate Resource Pack and strictly in accordance with IFAL's brand guidelines. You may not modify, alter, or distort any IFAL or Avila University brand assets; use the logos in any way that implies a deeper partnership than the affiliate relationship; or display the Avila University logo without also clearly displaying the IFAL logo — the co-brand must be used together.
You own the promotional content you create — blog posts, social media posts, videos, podcast episodes, and email campaigns about the Foundation Certificate remain your intellectual property.

By creating and publishing this content, you grant IFAL a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to share or reference your content for IFAL's own marketing purposes. IFAL will always attribute shared content to you.
You must comply with all applicable data protection laws in connection with any personal data processed as part of your promotional activities:

US affiliates: comply with applicable US state privacy laws, including CCPA if your audience includes California residents.
UK affiliates: comply with UK GDPR.
EU affiliates: comply with EU GDPR.

All affiliates: do not share, sell, or transfer any customer personal data obtained through your promotional activities to any third party. Any personal data a learner provides at the Stripe checkout or on the IFAL platform is processed by IFAL — not by you.
IFAL's credential pathway has three stackable levels — all co-issued by Avila University:

1. Foundation Certificate in Agribusiness Value Chains ($499)
2. Advanced Certificate I — Sustainable Food Supply Chains (~$2,499)
3. Advanced Certificate II — Food and Agribusiness Leadership (~$2,499)

Learners who complete the Foundation Certificate commonly progress to the Advanced Certificates. Your affiliate relationship means you earn on all three levels — a single referral that progresses through the pathway generates commission at each stage, at your current tier rate. The Foundation's $499 entry point and rolling intake make it an easy first recommendation; the Advanced Certificates carry significantly higher commission potential.
